At Bayanix, we believe in sharing our success and giving back to our local environment. We are proud to support charities close to our heart, sustainability initiatives and community activities.
Bayanix has been helping Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice throughout 2021 / 2022 with fundraising events by providing logistical support. The events raise much needed funds for end-of-life care, to help ease the suffering of patients and their loved ones.
We have also continued to support Raising Smiles in helping children improve their quality of life when they are undergoing treatment in hospital.
Bayanix has been pleased to team up with Peabody throughout 2021 / 2022 to help local communities and enterprises.
Bayanix teamed up with Youthbuild to provide the students with a week’s experience of stepping into the world of construction on a live site. After a thorough induction into site life, the students were tasked with constructing drylined partition walls in the Great Hall and plastering walls in the lift lobbies, allowing them to put into practice the skills they had been learning off-site.
To further enhance the CVs and employability of the Youthbuild students, Bayanix provided a half-day Fire Marshal course, comprising of theory and an exam, combined with practical extinguisher familiarisation work.
Each student emerged from the course as a qualified Fire Marshal, to help them with their onward careers on site.
In order to make even a small impact on reducing our carbon footprint, Bayanix has donated to Trees for Life to have a grove in the Caledonian Forest of Scotland, which we can add our trees to through company / staff / associate donations.
By removing CO2 from the atmosphere and locking it up, trees help to combat climate change. Recent studies have found that trees may be the best way to stabilise our climate.
Seedlings are collected up from the existing trees and planted on open hillsides to create healthy young woodlands and restore the forest.
This rich habitat supports wildlife, such as the red squirrel, black grouse, pine marten and golden eagle.
Add your own tree to the Bayanix grove for just £6
We are pleased to sponsor Hawkwell Athletic U16s Green Team, based in Bayanix director’s hometown, Hockley.
