Bayanix supports Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity

Bayanix Ltd are proud to announce their support for the charity Rays of Sunshine.

Rays of Sunshine children’s charity (registered charity number 1102529) was formed in 2003. They brighten the lives of seriously ill young people and their families across the UK by granting wishes and providing ongoing support in hospitals and within the community.

Jamie’s wish to be a real-life paramedic for a day

10-year-old Jamie from Henbury, Bristol, is currently living with Neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow along his nerves.

Since his diagnosis, Jamie must visit the hospital regularly and undergo MRI scans to monitor his condition. He may one day need to have chemotherapy and radiotherapy should the tumours grow.

Rays of Sunshine granted his greatest wish to be a “real-life” paramedic and become a member of the emergency services for a day.

Neal Bailey, Director, Bayanix, said: “We are pleased to be able to contribute towards this amazing charity and are humbled by the work they do to bring enrichment to these young peoples’ lives.”
